Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 2026
Please read these terms carefully before booking an appointment with Jen Parr Hand Therapy LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking an appointment, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Our services
Jen Parr Hand Therapy LTD provides specialist hand and wrist physiotherapy for adults. Services include assessment, treatment, splinting, and rehabilitation for conditions affecting the hand, wrist, and upper limb.
Our services are provided by Jennifer Parr, a HCPC-registered physiotherapist. We do not provide emergency medical care. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 999 or attend your nearest A&E.
2. Appointments
Appointments can be booked via our website, telephone, email, or WhatsApp. All appointments are subject to availability and are confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation from us.
You are responsible for attending appointments on time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened appointment at the full session fee.
3. Cancellation policy
We require at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed appointments without notice, will be charged at the full session fee.
We understand that emergencies happen. If you have exceptional circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate you.
4. Fees and payment
Current fees are listed on our Pricing page. Fees are payable at the time of your appointment unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in advance.
We accept payment by card, bank transfer, or cash. Invoices are provided on request. We do not currently accept direct payment from health insurers, though we can provide documentation to support your insurance claim.
5. Health information and consent
Before treatment, you will be asked to provide relevant health information and to give your informed consent to assessment and treatment. You have the right to withdraw consent at any time. Treatment will not proceed without your consent.
It is your responsibility to disclose any medical conditions, medications, or other factors that may be relevant to your treatment. We cannot be responsible for complications arising from information that was not disclosed to us.
6. Referrals and medical advice
Physiotherapy treatment complements but does not replace the advice of your GP, surgeon, or other medical professionals. If we consider that your condition requires medical attention beyond the scope of physiotherapy, we will advise you to seek appropriate care.
7. Liability
We will always provide treatment with reasonable skill and care. However, physiotherapy involves inherent risks and outcomes cannot be guaranteed. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from treatment unless caused by our negligence or breach of duty.
We are not responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings brought to appointments.
8. Complaints
We take all complaints seriously. If you are unhappy with any aspect of your care or service, please contact us in the first instance at jenparrhandtherapy@gmail.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within five working days and aim to resolve it promptly.
If your complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may contact the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) or the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
